Texas Parks and Wildlife Foundation introduces Texas Wild—a standout album featuring Texas musicians as they pay tribute to classic Texas tunes showcasing that untamed spirit found only in Texas music.
2025 Deluxe Edition Cover Art
The Texas Wild – Deluxe Edition limited vinyl release package features a collectible 24-page companion booklet, which includes an essay on the album and the wild things and wild places that inspired its creation. Four interchangeable covers by influential Texas illustrator Mishka Westell that showcase native Texas animals, including a mountain lion, desert bighorn sheep, Texas horned lizard and northern mockingbird, also come with the album.
2023 Original Vinyl Cover Art
For the original vinyl release, Westell created unique block print style art for each of the three single releases and the album cover art, which featured Texas native wildlife, including a screech owl, mockingbird, and other Texas critters.
Sales from the album will benefit Texas Parks and Wildlife Foundation.
